Singing your Shades. Chapter 19.

Por fin de vuelta, a medio gas, pero inundada de una cálida felicidad nueva para mí. Esto de la maternidad es una de las pruebas más duras; una etapa verdaderamente crucial donde cambian tus prioridades, donde sirve de bien poco el "no puedo más", donde pasas a un segundo plano sin dudarlo y tus límites se ven alcanzados en repetidas ocasiones. Y, sin embargo, todo se olvida cuando coges a tu niño entre tus brazos y su calor te envuelve de una maravillosa paz.

Espero que os guste este capítulo; está escrito desde el cariño, como siempre, y la ilusión de una nueva etapa. Para mí, el poder escribirlo ha sido un desafío extra.

I'm back again, at half speed, but awash in a warm happiness which is new for me. Motherhood is one of the toughest tests; a truly crucial stage in life where your priorities change, where the "I can no more" is of little use, where you go into the background without any hesitation and your limits are reached repeatedly. And yet, all is forgotten when you take your child in your arms and his warmth envelops you in a wonderful peace.

I hope you like this chapter; it's written from the affection, as always, and the illusion of a new stage in life. For me, to write it was an extra challenge.
