Singing your Shades is a Fanfic based in E.L. James' trilogy Fifty Shades. I do not own the characters that also appear in that trilogy, neither the songs or places that appear in the story.

At last! I wanted so bad to finish this chapter! I've enjoyed myself a lot writing it; my only hope is that people who read it will enjoy as much as me. That's the point. Two new characters are introduced in the plot, and also a third one, who only had appeared briefly. Everything happens for a reason in this story, so it means these characters will influence in the future plot. Moreover, there are a lot of songs along the chapter, so different between them, but all of them so marvelous too. I only wish you a happy encounter with our characters...
Me
¿no creéis?: “No
me importa si duele, quiero tener el control…”
Poned
atención a la letra…
There’s a
word to define this song: simply brilliant. Yes; for me it is the stroke of a
GENIUS. It is also sad and suffocating, but that first adjective defines it the
better.
Moreover,
I think it fits the story like a glove. I wonder why EL James, who used so many
songs along the trilogy, didn’t use this jewel of a song. It is so full of
self-loathing it reminds me of some lost man with grey eyes… it is so Fifty… don’t
you think so?: “I don’t care if it hurts,
I wanna have control…”
Pay
attention to the lyrics…

comercial’.

not well received at the mainstream radio for being ‘too depressive’, but
later, it was re released forming part of their first album Pablo Honey in 1993, and finally it
reached the firsts places at the UK and USA lists. Paradoxically, the band
began hating it for being ‘too commercial’. It has been versioned by numerous

Tell me a better option than 'I put a spell on
you' to accept the challenge Fifty Shades
offers to Midnight Sun in their first contact? That's what I thought when
thinking about that scene of the story. The song came to me without hardly
giving me any another option; it was as if it had been designed for the two of
them!
EL James had already used it in the second book of
the original work (Fifty Shades Darker) in a scene where the two of them meet in
the kitchen. On that occasion, it is a choice of Christian himself.
La canción original
‘I Put a Spell on You’ es una canción escrita por Screamin' Jay Hawkins,
‘I Put a Spell on You’ se lanzó al mercado
The original song
'I Put a Spell on You' is a song written by Screamin
'Jay Hawkins, later versioned by a large number of artists.
The song begins as a ballad about lost love, but
ends up becoming a violent rock, in which Hawkins claims possession of his
wife. Hawkins’ intention was to make his 'I Put a Spell on You' a classic bluesy
ballad, but the author stated that the producer transformed the recording
session into a party where alcohol had considerable influence on the wild version.
Anyway, it ended up becoming a classic. 'I Put a Spell on You' was launched in
1956 and quickly became a success despite the boycott of many radio stations and
record stores.
This original version of Screamin ' Jay Hawkins integrates
the soundtrack of the movie' Stranger Than Paradise' (1984) by Jim Jarmusch.
Versiones
Woodstock), The Animals, Buddy Guy, Them, Joe Cocker, Bryan Ferry, Van
Morrison, Nick Cave, Tab Benoit, Tim Curry y Marilyn Manson.
artistas como Notorious B.I.G. o LL Cool J. El Grupo The Kills logró una

y pianista estadounidense de jazz, blues, rhythm and blues y soul.
película Casque d'or.
acompañó a varios cantantes.
Estados Unidos. Después vendría el sencillo ‘My Baby Just Cares for Me’ (que
perfume Chanel No. 5).
también grabarían después Bob Dylan y The Animals. Otras canciones que la
hicieron famosa fueron’ I Put a Spell on You’, ‘Here Comes the Sun’ de Los
Beatles,’ Four Women’,’ I shall be released’, y ‘Aint got no (I got life)’.
temas como ‘For All We Know’,de estilo europeo clásico.
autobiografía de Nina Simone titulada ‘I Put a Spell on You’.
Nelson Mandela.
